52 Week Challenge: #12 DIY Swirl Paint Greeting Cards

Sunday, April 15

Chris gave me one of these for Christmas as a gag. But surprising to him, I was actually really excited to try it out. It kind of reminds me of that psychedelic kaleidoscope footage that they were so fond of in the 60's.
So it was totally fun experimenting with different colors and getting a little messy. I made a bunch of these and I thought what the heck am I supposed to do with them now? If I was a a kid I would just sign my name and put it up on the fridge. But I wanted to put them to a more practical use. There are a TON of May birthdays in my family and Chris' so I figured why not make some Birthday cards with all this groovy paper. Plus I finally wanted to use my new bone folder!
I saved the scraps to use in collages and my art journal. I made a bunch more and I can't wait to give them out to friends and family! Happy crafting!
