This sunday I wanted to make something easy and delicious while I watched my fantasy football team lose. Oh well, these mini-slider cheeseburgers were a winner! These are so simple and the recipe yields 12 so you can make enough to share with the whole team!
You will need:
1 1/2 lb. lean hamburger meat
Lipton dry onion soup mix (this ingredient makes a HUGE difference!)
King's Hawaiian sweet rolls
American or mild cheddar cheese
Onions and condiments
Mix 3/4 packet of onion soup mix to hamburger meat. Make sure not to knead the hamburger meat or your patties will come out tough. Make twelve patties roughly the size of the one pictured above in my hand. Grill each patty about four minutes on each side. The sweet rolls can be warmed in the oven according to the directions on the package. Top the patties with cheese during last few minutes of grilling. Remove from grill and add your favorite toppings and condiments. Personally I like mine plain with ketchup!
